1970 GMC C/K 10 It's a rusty cab on an awesome truck! Great engine, chassis, transmission, mechanical, (except for a missing parking brake).
*Four BRAND NEW BF GOODRICH A/T HIGH-LOAD tires! (Less than 10 miles on them!)
*Eight-lug rims only a few years old and in great condition.
*Transmission/clutch/brakes/power steering, etc. are all good. No Drips under truck.
*It is a flat/stake style bed and has a wood plank floor with normal wear and tear.
*The shocks/springs, etc. are good.
*Hydraulic lift-and-dump bed.
*Odometer works and reads 120,900. I bought the truck in March of 2009 with 105,900 miles on it.
(We use the truck semi-regularly for dump runs for my property maintenance/remodeling business,
but average only about 1,000 - 1,500 miles a year.)
*The "straight-6" engine was completely rebuilt only 4,000 miles ago, and is strong as heck!
*Commercial plates, REGISTRATION IS PAID THROUGH JANUARY OF 2019!
*NO SMOG REQUIRED!
CONS: The cab is in poor shape, rusted clear-through around the windshield and around the top. The interior is all there, but shows its age. The windows are hard to operate, as are the door locks. There is no parking brake that I can tell. Muffler is bad. The frame is in good shape.
I'm negotiable on the price. I won't give it away, but I won't be keeping it either because I am closing up my business in the coming months and won't have much use for it any longer. ($2,200 spent on new motor, mounts, radiator, etc., $1,300 on rims and brand new tires, so no silly offers, okay?)
