Vehicle Details

Description: 1955 2nd Series Chevy 3100 short bed with small rear window. I've owned this truck since 1985. Modifications I've made include: installed a 350 ci engine crate engine in 1987; SST dual exhaust; installed a fuse block & new wiring harness; replaced the pneumatic windshield wiper motor with electric; installed electric radiator fan with thermostat. The odometer isn't accurate, but I doubt the engine has 10,000 miles on it. The steering, brakes, leaf springs and transmission (4-speed on the floor with non-synchronized granny) are original. All the gauges work, but the speedometer isn't accurate. I think someone put a later model rear end in it before I bought it because it cruises easily at 70 MPH. Looks and drives like it's right out of 1955. Ripe for a complete restoration.
