Description: Rare 1988 Chevy Silverado k1500 4x4 GMT-400, Stepside (Sportside Regular Cab Pickup) with bucket seats, 5.7L 4Sp. OD 400 Automatic transmission, Has a Clear title, Never Wrecked, 3 owners prior to me. Less than 7,500 Miles on Rebuilt Engine, Trans, Driveshaft, brakes, Cat-Back dual exaust, Cruise Control, etc...Runs great. Needs Paint, although the paint is still protecting the body from rust. The interior is in great shape, with a beautiful non-cracked dash, o.k. door panels, carpet, and seats. Everything mechanical works perfect. I inherited the vehicle from a close friend whom was restoring the whole thing. He put on a used front hood because something smashed the top of original hood. But unfortunately, before finishing the whole truck, he was diagnosed terminal 4 years ago, and ran out of energy to continue. All the upgrades were done prior to diagnoses. The paint on the cab's top, hood and passenger side sat in the weather for 4 years while the western sun baked the paint and passenger side. The Body is perfect with only a couple of small parking lot dings. It will need very little body work to finish prepping for painting.. Asking $12,999 OBO.
